How the verdict works

Cost Gap is a rookie's draft-cost rank minus his output rank among 2026 rookies. Output rank orders every rookie with at least 2 games at 12%+ offensive snaps by fantasy points per game; cost rank orders the same rookies by rookie ADP from real mock drafts between the NFL draft and kickoff (2026-09-09). A positive gap means he is outperforming what he cost: ▲8 or better is Paying Off, ▼16 or worse after 3 games is Bust Watch.
